Dehurdle in ChatGPT and Claude

Last updated

Find or build a roleplay for a work conversation from ChatGPT or Claude, practice it by voice on Dehurdle, and get your scorecard back in the chat.

What you can do

  • Find a scenario in your Dehurdle library by describing the conversation you're preparing for.
  • Build a scenario from your real situation, if your plan lets you build scenarios. Your assistant describes the situation, and Dehurdle builds the roleplay and saves it to your library.
  • Practice by voice: your assistant shows a practice card, and you start the practice on Dehurdle, or in a WhatsApp call when the card offers it. The practice never runs in the chat.
  • Ask how it went: read your scorecard and recent practice history, and get coaching from your assistant.

Before you start

  • You need a Dehurdle account. Practice uses your workspace's practice minutes, as it does on Dehurdle.
  • In a company workspace, your company's owner turns on AI Assistants in the organization settings of the Dehurdle admin console. It is off until they do. Personal workspaces can always connect.

Connect ChatGPT or Claude

ChatGPT

  1. Find Dehurdle in ChatGPT's plugin directory and select Connect. If it isn't listed for you, add a custom MCP server in ChatGPT's settings with the server URL below.
  2. Sign in to Dehurdle, choose the workspace to practice in, and select Allow.

Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and find Dehurdle in the directory, or select Add custom connector and enter the server URL below.
  2. Sign in to Dehurdle, choose the workspace to practice in, and select Allow.

Server URL

https://mcp.dehurdle.com/mcp

Your assistants use one Dehurdle workspace at a time. Connecting again replaces the workspace you chose before.

Try asking

  • “Help me practice handling a pricing objection before my client call.”
  • “Build a practice for my renewal call: the procurement lead wants 15% off and we can't go below 5%.”
  • “How did my last Dehurdle practice go?”
  • “Show my recent Dehurdle practice scores.”

Practicing and your scorecard

  • Start Practice ↗ opens the practice on Dehurdle in the workspace you connected. Sign in if you're asked to.
  • Practice on WhatsApp ↗ appears when WhatsApp practice is available to you: your WhatsApp number is confirmed, and your plan and company allow it. If only the confirmed number is missing, the card shows Set Up WhatsApp ↗ instead.
  • When you finish, come back to the chat. The card shows your scorecard by itself shortly after, or select Show My Scorecard. You can also ask your assistant how it went.

Disconnecting

  • On Dehurdle, go to Settings → Integrations → AI assistants and select Disconnect. Your assistants lose access straight away.
  • You can also remove Dehurdle in ChatGPT's or Claude's settings. Disconnecting doesn't delete what the assistant has already received; use OpenAI's or Anthropic's own controls for that, such as deleting the chat.

Your data

Your assistant gets your scenarios, practice links, practice history and scorecards in the workspace you connected, never your transcripts, audio, email address or phone number. OpenAI or Anthropic handles that data under the terms of your account with them. Practice you start from an assistant is saved in your Dehurdle workspace like any other practice. The details are in section 5 of our privacy policy.

Troubleshooting and help

  • “Your company hasn't turned on AI assistants.” Ask your company's owner to turn on AI Assistants, or connect your personal workspace.
  • Your assistant asks you to connect again. This happens after you disconnect, leave the workspace you connected, or your company turns AI assistants off.
  • “Building your own scenarios isn't included in this workspace's plan.” You can still practice any scenario from your library.
  • For anything else, email reach@dehurdle.com.
